At County Fostering, the safety and well-being of all children and young people is our highest priority. To ensure this, we have a dedicated Designated Safeguarding Lead who is responsible for managing all safeguarding matters within the organisation.

What Does the DSL Do?

The DSL is responsible for:

  • Overseeing and managing safeguarding concerns.

  • Providing support and guidance to staff on child protection issues.

  • Liaising with external agencies such as social care and the police.

  • Ensuring staff receive regular safeguarding training.

  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records.

How to Raise a Concern

If you are concerned about the safety or well-being of a child or young person, please contact our DSL immediately. All concerns are taken seriously and handled with the utmost confidentiality and care.
