County Fostering was started in March 2019 by foster carers.

We have fostered children ourselves for over 20 years, so we’ve gained a huge amount of experience that we can put to good use. Importantly, our dedicated team includes highly experienced and qualified professionals whose focus is on building relationships with you and the children and young people you look after. After experiencing the difficulties and challenges ourselves, it has put us in a position to really understand and to help support you all the way through your fostering career.

We offer 24/7 support because for us, the support is vital to maintaining a happy, safe and healthy environment for the children. We offer support from our qualified social workers, therapists and support workers.

We aim to be there when you need us, not just at the end of a phone. We have a 24 hour support line, monthly supervision at your home, monthly support groups, and also hold children’s & men’s forums throughout the year.

The children can be complex at times but the rewards they bring to you and your family is immense. Each child is unique and has a right to be placed within a family that will respect their values, race, culture, and religion. We encourage the continual learning, and development to meet all of their needs.

At County Fostering we work within the National Minimum Standards, along with our own policies and procedures to ensure the safety, mental health, physical health, wellbeing, education and emotional warmth for all children.
